I chose the title 90daysandbeyond because it is my hope and desire that I can stay pumped and fired up for a good long while after my P90X goal is accomplished.
I was not going to initiate a blog. I had pretty much decided to just calendar the days as incentive to keeping moving. Until. I read a friend's blog. She had accomplished her dream goal of running a marathon and said that her journaling is one of her most prized possessions. I don't want to regret it so I'm just going to do it! I also hope that it is a strong source of motivation for me.
My dear friend Karen is keeping me going. We decided that we both had some changes to make and made a commitment to get each other through it. This is the hardest workout commitment I've ever made. I'm really excited about making the goal and so far I'm very anxious to stick with it.
I will try to journal often not just about the workouts, but also how they are effecting my body, energy level, self discipline, etc. I also want to journal my eating habits as those must change. It won't be a fancy journal, but it will be real. I'm contimplating posting my pictures, but not quite there yet.
Because I have not received the complete set of discs for the program, I've been skipping a bit. Last week I got a good idea of what I was getting myself into. Very intense workout! But I felt great afterward! This week I've officially started (Monday) and I'm anxious to begin each day. Like I said before, this is not like anything I've ever done. I'm grateful for the opportunity.
